The BRC Global Standard Food Safety is the most certificated standard among foodstuff manufacturers. This standard is aimed mainly at food safety. The standard includes important elements from ISO 9000 for quality management and ISO 22000 for food safety and other retailer requirements. In addition to an HACCP plan, it stipulates management, including Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Hygiene Practices and information provision requirements. After having worked with the standard for one day, lots of different pieces will start to fall into place.
Objective
The objective of ‘BRC Global Standard Food Safety’ training is to offer background information, clarification and practical tips in respect of setting up, implementing and maintaining the BRC Food standard.
Morning Session
Background of this BRC standard and clarification and interpretation of the various elements of the standard.
Afternoon Session
The practical application of elements of the BRC standard in your operations and working out a case.
Test
Every participant receives a course syllabus. The training is concluded with a brief test. Subject to a satisfactory result, the course participant receives a personalised Certificate ‘Standards in Food: BRC Food’.
